About Eric Pickel 

   Songwriter, Singer, Pianist, Drummer, Percussionist, Eric was born & raised in

Montreal, where he was a child actor, appearing in professional and College

productions, musicals & some television.

 Eric studied music & theatre at College then lived in Boston for 7 years, where he recorded his first album. He lived in L.A. as well, and he signed with American Records in 1983.

Eric toured New England bars and clubs playing alongside artists such as

Aerosmith's  Joe Perry, Till Tuesday w/ Amiee Mann,  John Butcher Axis,

FarrenHeit, Extreme, The Jam Band,  and members of the band Boston.

Eric has extensive studio, live, production & management experience, both in the U.S. and Canada. Eric did some studio work in Boston and played with, among others, an aspiring Patty Griffin. Eric has recorded over 150 songs to date.

 Last year he had a 4 song publishing deal for a recently signed artist and was

 asked to compose songs for a pending film.
This year Eric has 3 songs currently being pitched to Major artists in Nashville.

 
Eric writes for Artists, TV & Film.
